    1. Washington, DC – The International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) is urging households to change more than just smoke alarm batteries when Daylight Savings Time ends November 2.

    2. The IAFF also recommends changing to a photoelectric smoke alarm.

    3. About 90 percent of homes are equipped with ionization smoke alarms.

Did everyone catch the advice from the World’s largest fire organization the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF)?

The IAFF stated,

“Don’t just change your batteries, change your smoke detector [to a photoelectric] too!”

and that,

using better smoke alarms will drastically reduce the loss of life among citizens and firefighters”
